“Shape of You” by is one of the most iconic pop songs of all time, topping charts worldwide and capturing the energy of love, attraction, and connection in its lyrics. The infectious rhythm, memorable chorus, and dance-floor-ready beat turned it into one of the best-selling singles ever.

In this inspired cover version, I tried to bring you a fresh twist on Ed Sheeran’s hit while staying true to its original mood and vibe. The cover keeps the playful storytelling and romantic energy but introduces reimagined lyrics that make it unique while still recognizable to fans of the original.

This version maintains the catchy rhythm, the same fun bar-meets-romance energy, and the smooth balance of cheeky verses with heartfelt choruses. Whether you’re dancing, vibing at a party, or just listening on repeat, this cover is designed to keep that spark alive.

Lyrics:

The club ain't the spot to chase affection
So the lounge is where I roll (mm)
Me and my crew at the table takin’ shots
Sip it quick and then we talk slow (mm)
You slide on over, start a conversation with just me
And trust me, I’ll give it a try now (mm)
Take my hand, spin, put Marvin Gaye on the jukebox
And then we start to sway, and now I’m singin’ like

Girl, you know I crave your touch
Your vibe feels built for someone like me
Well, come on now, follow my lead
I might be reckless, don’t mind me
Say, “Boy, let’s not chat too much”
Pull on my waist and put that body on me
Come, come on now, follow my lead (mm)

I’m in love with the shape of you
We push and pull like the oceans do
Even my heart is fallin’ too
I’m in love with your body
And last night you were in my room
Now all my sheets still smell like you
Every day discoverin’ somethin’ brand new
I’m in love with your body

One week in and we’re lettin’ it flow
We’re steppin’ out for our first date (mm)
You and me, we’re thrifty, hit the buffet line
Loadin’ bags while I load my plate (mm)
We talk for hours ’bout the sweet and the sour
And how your people are doin’ okay (mm)
Then ride a taxi, kissin’ in the back seat
Tell the driver make the stereo play and I’m singin’ like

Girl, you know I crave your touch
Your vibe feels built for someone like me
Well, come on now, follow my lead
I might be reckless, don’t mind me
Say, “Boy, let’s not chat too much”
Pull on my waist and put that body on me

I’m in love with the shape of you
We push and pull like the oceans do
Even my heart is fallin’ too
I’m in love with your body
And last night you were in my room
Now all my sheets still smell like you
Every day discoverin’ somethin’ brand new
I’m in love with your body

Come on, be my baby, come on
This cover’s made by Ace Plays, yeah
Smash that like if you vibe along
We light the night until the dawn
Ace Plays made this groove for you
Smash that like if you vibe it too
Every day discoverin’ somethin’ brand new
I’m in love with the shape of you

#ShapeOfYou #EdSheeran #SongCover #PopMusic #ViralCover #MusicVideo #LoveSongs #ai #music #song #lyrics #ed
